In an interview with NBC anchor Brian Williams, Deniro stated “It’s like a big hustle. It’s like being a car salesman,” DeNiro said. “Don’t go out there and say things unless you can back them up. How dare you? That’s awful to do. To just go out and speak and say these terrible things? Unless you just wanna get over and get the job. It’s crazy.”
As depicted in the picture, DeNiro was a major factor in Obama's initial campaign, which makes it none too surprising that he would be up in arms about an attack on the legitimacy of the President's birth certificate. I'm sick of the media thinking that anyone actually cares what these actors have to say about politics. Their job is to act and make me laugh in movies, not make me facepalm about politics.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Americans expect there celebrities to be better behaved than their politicians now a days, and that is a very worrying sign.
ReplyDeleteI must've missed this, brb newspaper :)
ReplyDeleteNeeds a star backing him now? Hmmm
ReplyDeleteTrump needs Stallone or another badass. :P
ReplyDeleteI don't mind if actors speak out, that's their decision as individuals. However, I do find it strange than anyone cares what they think.
ReplyDeleteActors in politics is a bad combination. Actors need to act, not be in politics.
ReplyDeletei agree with jim. actors and politics dont go together at all
ReplyDeleteLets me get this straight, you are face palming the fact that Deniro is saying Trump is ridiculous to question Obamas birth? really? really?
ReplyDeleteI don't know how crazy Trump is, but he has more balls then the whole democratic party combined.
