In Financial Crisis, No Prosecutions of Top Figures

Article can be found here

The article basically asks the question, why have no top figures been prosecuted in the aftermath of the financial crisis.  They go on to say that the reason no prosecutions have been made is because the market is so fragile and that the taxpayers need to be protected.  Well, I don't know if anyone recalls, but the housing market's dirty dealings WAS APPROVED by the Government!  How are you going to prosecute anyone who had that kind of permission?  It wasn't like nobody saw it coming and this was some kind of elaborate scam by the big boys on Wall Street...it seems like everyone and their brother in Congress knew what was going on and let it ride us into recession, or as this article likes to call it, a "financial crisis" whatever that means.

  1. They are the majority that runs this country. Most are untouchable and don't pay taxes.

  7. I don't think it's as simple an issue as just saying 'they own the government' It's also an issue that they can afford super high price/power lawyers that will drag out anything that happens in court for years and years, allowing people's anger to cool down and further waste money.
