Army plans on saving money by shutting down Tank plant

Original article Here

So the Army has decided that they are going to shut down the Lima plant for a few years to save money.  What this plant does is take beat up tanks from the field and refurbishes them to make them battle-ready once again.  Great plant, does a great thing for the men and women overseas.  This is only a temporary solution, granted the Army isn't trying to balance the national budget, so all things considered, I think it's probably a good idea.

Congress, however, is up in arms about this, as Boehner's constituents in Ohio will lose their jobs if this shuts down.  We can't have our Congressman's popularity getting hurt over a little thing like budget can we!
