'Al-Qaeda assassin worked for MI6', secret cables claim

Original article found Here

So there is a known terrorist, Hamlili, who was released from Guantanamo Bay Prison facility back to his native Algeria.  He is allegedly responsible for several terrorist attacks including the bombing of the Karachi Sheraton which killed 13 people in  2002.

Wikileaks released the files of 759 Guantanamo detainees, in which they describe Hamlili as an "Al-Qaeda Assassin".  Things get interesting, however, when US interrogators believe that he was also an informant for MI6.

Anyways, it is currently unclear whether this man is still being detained in Algeria, so I'd like to give a round of applause to Mr. Obama for letting him go.  When this guy bombs another hotel, church, etc, killing women and children I hope Obama can't sleep at night.

  1. What the hell? Those are some pretty crazy ass ties to many different organizations. Hope they catch him

  2. Well, if he is an informant for the MI6 then the journalists releasing that information is stupid as shit. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that once that information is out, the informant will have to answer to his "buddies"...

  3. The cost of information often outweighs perceived safety. If they let him go, its not without some sort of tail/follow/tracer/low-orbit-sat watching his movements. Nothing is a coincidence.

  4. So prisoners can be released in Guantanamo Bay? Bad bad idea, now look what is happening.
